If you - or someone you know - are having thoughts about suicide, call 1.800.SUICIDE (784-2433). Calls are connected to a certified crisis center nearest the callerís location. Services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The Take Action Tour has partnered with the National Hopeline Network 1.800.SUICIDE (784-2433) for the fourth year running, once again bringing Suicide Prevention to the punk rock music circuit.  The tour reaches over 50,000 young people in a national tour via music from bands committed to the cause, and outreach.  Crisis Centers are encouraged to send representatives and volunteers out to the shows in their area for: outreach, volunteer recruitment, and to collect signatures on petitions for mental health parity.  The tour finds its niche by strengthening the bonds between community mental health services and the communities they serve.

You can join the Take Action Tour crew and the National Hopeline Network at the annual South by Southwest Music festival.  Take Action and Andrew W.K. are hosting a special showcase of artists on Saturday, March 20th, highlighting the Hopeline and the Youth America Hotline.

We are proud to offer a new sub network just for teens, called the Youth America Hotline (YAH).  Callers can access this toll-free peer to peer line by calling 1.877.YOUTHLINE (986-8454).
